I'll be careful. I know the struggle.

Hey, I'm currently looking out for any Bunkum Lagoon refugees- last I heard, you were visiting, right? The details don't matter- but my bakery can hold a few people for the time being while all this owl stuff keeps going on... Hopefully you haven't been too hurt already.
If you need a place to shelter at, it's the first shop you see in the main plaza. There might be some owls around, I just set out some stale bread to get them away from the front door.
The Dancer takes a second to respond, frozen.
That's– awfully convenient. I think I see it. No owls as far as I can tell... I'll come in.

Part II of my musings about my scogan kid fic idea (read part I here)
It’s very delicate. And Logan doesn’t deal with delicate. He can deal with force and dangerous and what-doesn’t-kill-you-makes-you-stronger. A four-year-old girl calling him “dad” is nowhere near any of these things.
And Summers must know how much of a deal this is because he’s quiet the whole time they walk to his office to talk, for which Logan didn’t ask but Scott offered anyway, without the typical stoic composure Logan was used to seeing on him.
Then they get there and neither of them can really sit down or start because where do you start after seeing something like this? After apparently living in a universe where time-travel is possible and it happens to be your damn luck that you have to live with its consequences?
And Logan realises that Scott could ask first. He wasn’t there when Logan talked about his timeline with Charles and as far as the little girl goes, calling Scott “papa” is on the same spot of “urgent” as calling Logan “dad” is.
But Summers speaks in the end and, surprising no one, he decides to be unselfish and asks Logan what he wants to know. Logan gives him a look that must speak for itself because Summers clenches his jaw but still waits and Logan hates him but not really and so he asks, “The girl. Who is she?”
And Scott says that her name is Kayla (because I happen to be a big fan of Wolverine: Origins and I always have been ever since I saw it when I was, like, thirteen, and despite all the sad stuff about Kayla, I loved the message of her words to Logan that he’s not an animal and I think it would be nice to have that message survive in a little girl who at some point learned to love him enough to call him dad because if that doesn’t say he’s not an animal, then I don’t know). It might warrant a reaction from Logan right away. He might know what the name means, the Logan of this timeline probably didn’t (but it’s possible he doesn’t know either).
So he asks who gave her that name, to which Scott replies that he chose it and Logan asks why they would let him and Scott says because he was the one who found her. There is something Summers isn’t saying, though, and although Logan can tell, he lets it go this time.
Found her? he asks next and Scott says I assume you’re familiar with the name “Stryker”, to which Logan lets out one of his claws, the middle one, akin to all those years ago on the Liberty Island and he doesn’t know what he expects, but the soft smile that graces Scott’s face before it is squashed down by the cold calculated look was definitely not it.
Then Scott reaches under his desk and unlocks one of his drawers and pulls out a thick file with the huge red stemp of “classified” written over it and he pushes it closer to Logan. It says “Weapon XII” on the front and Logan bristles and almost lets out all of his claws.
He doesn’t reach for the file and Scott probably didn’t even expect him to because he goes on, unprompted, and says that the project was meant to be a continuation of the previous one, of designing a mutant who would be able to hold and control multiple abilities at the same time. The previous project made them aware they could change one mutant. Now, they wanted to know whether they could fully create one and raise them to be their perfect soldier.
For that, they needed a suitable collection of DNA from mutants they knew existed because it turned out that not every ability was compatible with the rest of them.
When Logan asks how they found out, Summers says it’s in the file and then clenches his jaw when Logan just says he’s not reading it. Then Scott says there were multiple test subjects that were biologically engineered in different ways so they knew where to push their limits. At the time, Kayla was being referred to as “12.9” and she was the only one they found at the facility. The rest were defined in the file as “failed” and “closed” and Logan really feels slashing through something right now.
Scott says she was merely six-months old when she was found by them. They didn’t know who she was but the following days were a bit self-explanatory when she teleported a meter away right in front of their eyes and shot red beams from her eyes at a toy she didn’t particularly like.
Her powers were meant to manifest early so Stryker’s people knew if she could harness all the powers they engineered her with without dying. It was a long process of deciding which ones she had to have and which ones she didn’t. All of the children had Logan’s, though, and as much as there indeed is no adamantium in her body, it was the plan to put it into her once she grew up. Putting it into her now would prevent her from her natural development and result in her death. Logan says, “Don’t tell me they found that out the hard way,” to which Scott replies, “What do you think?”
So, what, is she a clone? Logan asks after Scott explains the rest and Scott says, Yes, in a sense.
What do you mean? She either is or she ain’t!
Clones are usually of “something” and are meant to resemble that something to perfection. She has so much of other people in herself that no one would be able to pin point what she is a clone of.
As much as it clears up a few things about her to Logan, there is a lot Scott doesn’t mention that day or the ones that follow. He doesn’t say that it was actually the two of them together who found her and not just Logan. He doesn’t reveal that her first days here were a pretty accurate depictions of hell and that Logan’s healing factor came especially in handy and she also sort of seemed to cry a lot less when she was in Scott’s arms compared to everyone else’s. And he doesn’t say anything about the fact that, yes, as much as her DNA is comprised of DNA of other mutants, the percentages vary and there are two sets of DNA she has more of than from others and there is a reason why her eyes are so blue and why she purposefully has weaker versions of all her mutant abilities aside from her healing factor and heightened senses.

September Finally
August is over. What a relief. August is a restless month. The sunshine has lost its novelty, the weather is no longer appreciated and we’re all caught in the in between. The summer bounty has started to spoil. The desire for something new has become more urgent, and it’s all starting to feel like there’s nothing that can be done but let time pass. I think that might be the worst part of it—the passivity. August demands endurance. September provides release.
As I’m typing this, the sky murky, gray with rain filled clouds. A sign of a promising weekend and a refreshing month to come.
What have I been up to this month? I’m flipping through my planner and wow, I have been busy! Most notable thing accomplished is finalising my schedule for the rest of the year, which is very exciting, because now that everything is decided all that’s left to do is wait for them to happen. I can’t wait!!
I am also happy to announce I am out of my reading funk!! I read a couple of books this past month—all outside my comfort zone (plus points for that!) I tend to favor literary fiction, historical fiction and mystery novels, but this month I exclusively read YA fantasy. I have a handful of YA/fantasy books because once upon a time I thought I was falling in love with this girl who liked the genre. Pulling my signature “I-Will-Read-What-You-Like-To-Read-Because-I-Love-You” move™️ I bought these books, eager to get to know this girl’s world. But without going too deep into it for now, I very fortunately realized that relationship wasn’t going to work at all and all I have left of that time are these books that are totally outside of my usual taste. Ah, silly me.
Books read this month:
We Were Liars - E. Lockhart
The Impossible Girl - Lydia Kang (okay this is historical fantasy… so it’s only partially out of my comfort zone lol)
Sky in the Deep - Adrienne Young
Vicious - V.E. Schwab
All these reads got a 3+ out of 5 rating by the way. They’re all solid but I also don’t feel a sense of attachment to any of them so I ended up giving them away. I’m glad I read them but it is also a relief to have tidied up my collection a little bit.
Now, what shall I name my Snow Queen pothos babies? They were sitting in a propagation jar for ages and I finally potted them. The mama plant had some root rot issues so I had to save it by chopping it up. When it gets fuller, I’m going to chop it some more and maybe finally make my pothos medley dream come true. I have five different kinds of pothos in my plant family and I really want to experiment and combine them in one pot.
Speaking of plants, I have to trim the dining room plants for the fourth time this year. They’re growing out of control. I’m going to do that later today while listening to some podcasts.
Oh! Yes, podcasts! I come to you with a recommendation. My usual podcasts are True Crime (yes, I am one of those people I’m afraid), scary stories, history and politics. This one is a Sci-Fi fiction podcast (so I’ve continued the theme of staying outside my comfort zone in August it seems). Anyway, I got an ad for a Spotify Podcast called Case 63 a couple of days ago while listening to Disappeances by Sarah Turney (another good podcast). The ad was compelling enough to get me to check it out and I’m so happy I did. It’s a really short 10-episode story about a time traveler trying to prevent the end of the world. How original! (I am being sarcastic lol). But seriously, it actually got me pacing my kitchen while nervously chewing on a banana. It’s pretty good. I’m not into Sci-Fi at all. I’ve probably interacted with like, four different Sci-Fi media in my entire life but this one was an excellent listen. I’m interested in listening to more similar podcasts. I’ll remember to find more this month.
I also bought a new iPad Pro and the matching Magic Keyboard in August. I upgraded from an 11-inch to a 12.9-inch model and the difference is great, especially when I have the split screen setup going on. And the Magic Keyboard is definitely better than the Apple Keyboard Folio I had. It comes with a trackpad so it’s basically a MacBook with a touch screen. I was going to upgrade my MacBook too but they didn’t have the one I wanted and it isn’t urgent, so I just stuck with these two purchases. I’m very content. I put an autumn themed wallpaper on the new iPad (can you feel my intense yearning for autumn???) and I’ve just been setting it up little by little.
This entry’s music highlight is from a band called Half Moon Run from Canada (insert Louise Belcher “enough with Canada!!” GIF here lol) and I may or may not see them live soon. It depends on my schedule. This song is the first track from their newest album which is fucking incredible. Somehow when I listen to the album I feel like I’m back in 2013? Yet at the same time this album feels a lot more up to date than their older works. I don’t know how to explain it. I think it’s the vocalist’s voice. It’s very… 2010s emo/punk/indie sounding. When the chorus of this song rolls in I can’t help but bop my head and sing along especially when he goes “… that weight you carry with yaaaa!!” I love it.
Alright. That’s it for now. I leave you with my orange boy tickling the ivories and knocking all my sheet music off the music rack because, you know, orange cat behaviour. And of course my eldest boy is being the mellow gentleman that he is, just lounging in his “penthouse apartment” (because it’s at the top of their cat tree lol).
Smell you later!

Super funny how everyone keeps saying don’t sexualize bad omens but homie literally performed on stage and was thrusting and smacking the air like he was smacking someone’s butt. Twice, mind you.
Funny way to admit that you're a terrible person with no respect for people's boundaries and boundaries that are literally communicated repeatedly.
Can I call you Becky? I'm going to call you Becky.
Listen, Becky. I'm sure you are 12.9 and think that this band is soooo coool. But the reality is you are feeding a parasocial relationship. YOU DONT KNOW NOAH SEBASTIAN. And you don't own the right to him, his body, or his music. You don't get the right to sexualize him if he has asked for people to not do that.
He can choose how he acts and behaves for his own self while also setting healthy boundaries for what he is comfortable with other people doing. It's his body, his identity, his choice, Becky. Not yours.
Think about it like women wearing short skirts to feel powerful, only to end up getting groped by creepy ass dudes who think that a skirt is an invitation to touch them.
Being a man does NOT make things different, Becky. Being famous does not make things different. A boundary is a boundary, no exceptions.
So by sexualizing him, Becky, you're the asshole groping girls in skirts. That's you. It's creepy, it's disgusting, and it has no place in the music scene.
Grow up, get therapy, and stop treating musicians like toys.

This implies a 25.4 per cent upside relative to its current market price. “Our recommendation is supported by new launch visibility; asset–light business and quick turnaround time, geographical play and product innovation, and low leverage plus strong cash flows combined with strategic partnership,” analysts at Axis Securities said. The brokerage said that the real estate firm has significantly expanded its project portfolio since the demerger in FY15 and currently has a planned pipeline of projects spanning 47.97 million sqaure foot (Mn sq ft), bringing its total book size to 75.47 Mn sq ft.Approximately 72 per cent of its projects follow an asset-light approach. OP has convinced me that there needs to be an indie horror game about this. Call it "Mornington Crescent". The goal of the game is to make it to Paddington Station; the developers claim it _is_ possible to win, but no player has yet managed it.
(Game stats show 4.8% of playthroughs end in successfully finding an exit and spending the rest of your life in some strange disconnected place. You also have a 12.9% chance of being permanently trapped at a station. The other outcomes are less good.)
trains will announce you're stopping in places you never knew existed

You can have your goods delivered in two ways:
Standard post - 7-15 working days for dispatch: 5 $ (Free Shipping Slovakia ) It depends on the weight of the goods
FedEx: $ 30
If you have goods of a higher value, only the FedEX option will remain available to you. The reason why only this option remains is that the price of the goods is higher, the goods are heavier, and the company wants to transport them safely directly to you in the shortest possible time. It usually depends on the weight of the goods, if it is too large, only the FedEX option will remain. I believe that this is understandable since GPM Racing wants to provide quality services ... 👍👍👍👍👍

Biographizing the Eschaton: The Proleptic Eschatology of the Gospels
Eli Kittim
The canonical epistles strongly indicate that the narratives concerning the revelation of Jesus in the New Testament (NT) gospel literature are proleptic accounts. That is to say, the NT gospels represent the future life of Jesus as if presently accomplished. The term “prolepsis,” here, refers to the anachronistic representation of Jesus’ generation as if existing before its actual historical time. Simply put, the gospels are written before the fact. They are conveyed from a theological angle by way of a proleptic narrative, a means of biographizing the eschaton as if presently accomplished. In other words, these are accounts about events that haven’t happened yet, which are nevertheless narrated as if they have already occurred.
By contrast, the epistles demonstrate that these events will occur at the end of the age. This argument is primarily founded on the authority of the Greek NT Epistles, which affirm the centrality of the future in Christ’s only visitation! In the epistolary literature, the multiple time-references to Christ being “revealed at the end of the ages” (1 Pet. 1.20; cf. Heb. 9.26b) are clearly set in the future, including his birth, death, and resurrection (see Gal. 4.4; Eph. 1.9-10; Rev 12.5). It is as though NT history is written in advance (cf. Isa. 46.10)!
The Proleptic versus the Prophesied Jesus
The historical view is extremely problematic, involving nothing less than a proleptic interpretation of Jesus. It gives rise to numerous chronological discrepancies that cannot be easily reconciled with eschatological contexts of critical importance. What is even more troubling is that it evidently contradicts many explicit passages from both the Old and New Testaments regarding an earthly, end-time Messiah and uses bizarre gaps and anachronistic juxtapositions in chronology in order to make heterogeneous passages appear homogeneous (e.g. Job 19.25; Isa. 2.19; Dan. 12.1—2; Zeph. 1.8—9, 15—18; Zech. 12.9—10; Lk. 17.30; Acts 2.17—21; 2 Thess. 2.1—3, 7—8; Heb. 1.1—2; 9.26; 1 Pet. 1.20; Rev 12.5, 7—10).
Intertextuality in the Gospels
The canonical gospel accounts add another level of intertextual reference to the Old Testament (OT). Almost every event in Jesus’ life is borrowed from the OT and reworked as if it’s a new event. This is called “intertextuality,” meaning a heavy dependence of the NT literature on Hebrew Scripture. A few examples from the gospels serve to illustrate these points. It’s well-known among biblical scholars that the Feeding of the 5,000 (aka the miracle of the five loaves and two fish) in Jn 6.5-13 is a literary pattern that can be traced back to the OT tradition of 2 Kings 4.40-44. The magi are also taken from Ps. 72.11: “May all kings fall down before him.” The phrase “they have pierced my hands and my feet” is from Ps. 22.16; “They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst” is from Ps. 69.21. The virgin birth comes from a Septuagint translation of Isa. 7.14. The “Calming the storm” episode is taken from Ps. 107.23-30, and so on & so forth. Is there anything real that actually happened which is not taken from the Jewish Bible? Moreover, everything about the trial of Jesus is at odds with what we know about Jewish Law and Jewish proceedings. It could not have occurred in the middle of the night during Passover, among other things.
There is only One Coming, not Two
The belief in the two comings of Christ equally contradicts a number of NT passages (e.g. 1 Cor. 15.22—26, 54—55; 2 Tim. 2.16—18; Rev 19.10; 22.7, 10, 18—19), not to mention those of the OT that do not separate the Messiah’s initial coming from his reign (e.g. Isa. 9.6—7; 61.1—2). Rather than viewing them as two separate and distinguishable historical events, Scripture sets forth a single coming and does not make that distinction (see Lk. 1.31—33). Indeed, each time the “redeeming work” of Messiah is mentioned, it is almost invariably followed or preceded by some kind of reference to judgment (e.g. “day of vengeance”), which signifies the commencement of his reign on earth (see Isa. 63.4). In 2 Thess 2, the author implores us not to be deceived by any rumors claiming that the Lord has already appeared: “to the effect that the day of the Lord is already here” (v. 2; cf. v. 1). His disclaimer insists that these conventions are divisive in view of the fact that they profess to be Biblically based, “as though from us” (v. 2), even though this is not the official message of Scripture.
Why Does the New Testament Refer to Christ’s Future Coming as a “Revelation”?
Why do the NT authors refer to Christ’s future coming as a “revelation”? The actual Greek word used is ἀποκάλυψις (apokalupsis). The English word apocalypse comes from the Greek word apokalupsis, which means “revelation.” The term revelation indicates the disclosure of something that was previously unknown. Thus, according to the meaning of the term revelation, no one knows the mystery or secret prior to its disclosure. Therefore, we cannot use the biblical term “revelation” to imply that something previously known is made known a second time. That’s not what the Greek term apokalupsis means. If it was previously revealed, then it cannot be revealed again. It’s only a revelation if it is still unknown. Thus, the word “revelation” necessarily implies a first time disclosure or an initial unveiling, appearing, or manifestation. It means that something that was previously unknown and/or unseen has finally been revealed and/or manifested. Thus, a revelation by default means “a first-time” occurrence. In other words, it’s an event that is happening for the very first time. By definition, a “revelation” is never disclosed twice.
Accordingly, the NT verses, which refer to the future revelation of Christ, never mention a second coming, a coming back, or a return, as is commonly thought. See the following verses:
1 Cor. 1.7-8; 4.5; 15.23; Phil. 1.6; 2.16; Col. 3.4; 2 Thess. 1.7; 1.10; 2.1-2; 1 Tim. 6.14; Titus 2.13; Jas. 5.7; 1 Pet. 1.13; 1 Jn. 2.28; Rev 1.1; 22.20.
In the aforementioned verses, a second coming is nowhere indicated. Conversely, Jesus’ Coming is variously referred to as an appearance, a manifestation, or a “revelation” in the last days, which seems to imply an initial coming, a first coming, and the only coming. Surprisingly, it’s not referred to as a return, a coming back, or a second coming. As N.T. Wright correctly points out, the eschatological references to Jesus in the New Testament don’t mention a second coming but rather a future appearance or manifestation. Not only do the NT writers refrain from calling Jesus’ future visitation “a second coming,” but, conversely, they further indicate that this is his first and only advent, a momentous event that will occur hapax (“once for all”) “in the end of the world” (Heb. 9.26 KJV), or “at the final point of time” (1 Peter 1.20 NJB). None of the NT authors refer to the future visitation of Christ as a second coming. It’s as though these communities expected Jesus to appear for the first time in the end of the world! The takeaway is that the NT is an apocalypse. It’s not a history.

There's a whole bunch of people wondering what John Riemann learned is doing and we need to know too my son says it's probably all for rigid stuff rigging and that's what he's trying to do tons of people are after him for it and constantly and he's losing people all the time here in Florida to it all over the world but they're doing it here constantly and they're pulling him in and they're getting rid of the tons of them and they're not stopping and it's part of what the mac proper pled planned but he's growing along with it so he won't be making it anywhere
- There's other things happening and one of them is the rings are embroiled they are full of people and they call the 1.4 billion again. And it's done a pretty sight they're all getting killed and yeah leadership will be down this round it will go below 7 and we said 6.5 but that's not where it was but we expected a bit 6.9 percent probably by daybreak in about 12.9% And it's going down pretty quickly and people are starting to think this year this is happening and it is they're losing a lot of people it is a catastrophic year that's what they say and furthermore they are losing ground rapidly with us. They're not going to or send them anythingAssist them We're going to war with the separatists everyone is they're just sitting there taunting everybody as they get hit and they don't stop making devices is that their method and everyone has to come to terms with it and agree we don't need that so far today 5 of their 20 cities that are large it's the biggest are almost completely defunct they are calling people like crazy and those people die trying to get there and they're calling people for the other cities like madness and you're going to fall already the biggest reason is they're trying to use these cover to make devices and there's stuff below them people want that and there's too much space for them to be working in and there's nobody else there so they just get wiped out and sudden said that too you're not covering it with anything all that valuable and they didn't listen of course but they thought they were going to kidnap us and that didn't happen and they didn't kidnap many mac people either okay so. Okay as a result and that's a western hemisphere, people are evacuating and going to their separatist cities and rapidly and they say you can't shoot enough stuff like that. Probably half the population of the Morlock who are in the populace off island will be evacuated by the end of today to the separatist cities this will make it impossible for them to stay and they'll leave and they will seal their fate and that's a large part of their force the other portion will be sealed into the islands by the pseudo empire now the pseudo empire has separate cities but they also have areas like Florida and it's going horribly but it's not that bad and these guys the Macklemore Lock are going to run right off their cliff into the cities and they will die hey we're going to print this is very very big news
Thor Freya and we do need you to do it and you are doing it
Olympus
Zeus
Zeus
We are anticipating this happening now but we're excited i'll be free from this shouting pile of Eubanges and they're very rarely that strangely arrogant and the horrendous sounding all the time and it's gross I don't want them around my husband at all they're disgusting losers

Week 11 - Mixing Advanced Techniques
For this week's exercise, I chose a track I wrote from last year's Music Production class called Planet Star that uses heaps of synth, it actually came from a session at MESS and I ended up tracking drums and guitar for the final version and am very happy with the way it came out.
For the exercise, I wanted to use a basic compressor that comes with Ableton to take some of the edge off of the cymbals and hi-hat in the stereo mix. So once the compressor was on the stereo track I set a fast attack and fast-release and then opened the additional settings tab to reveal the EQ settings. Once I was in there I set the Frequency to be affected to 12.9 with a -7db gain reduction and could see I tiny amount of yellow line skimming across the top in the settings window. At this stage, I could also hear the small effect the compression was having on reducing the amount of top-end in the cymbals and hi-hat.
I added the Vinyl plugin to the track and used the warp setting which gave a really nice effect to the synths in the track, it also shaved a whole heap of top end off of the cymbals and gave the low end some nice analogue warmth.
